Hi Jessica! Thanks for stopping by. I am not sure which punches you are referring to. If you are talking about the Fiskars Hand punches, I believe they would cut through thin foam easily. They are sturdy enough to cut through chipboard, so foam should be no problem as long as it is not too thick to fit in the punch. The border punches, I don't think would punch foam very well, unless you were able to find a very thin foam. A thicker foam would probably not even fit in the punch.

Hi Sandi! Thanks for dropping by. :) You are correct, the spirals were not made using rubber stamps. They are hand painted. I have been meaning to write up a tutorial on how to do this, because so many people ask me about it. The truth is you don't really need a tutorial though, it is super easy to do- you just need the right equipment. It requires use of a spinning device of some sort. For card sized spirals like the ones shown here, a child's spinning toy like this one will work.

I do love mine though.

One thing I would say is, you'll probably want to use better paints than the ones that come with this. I also prefer to use paintbrushes and sponge brushes. DO NOT under any circumstances use your high quality expensive brushes for this though- spin art will wear them out very quickly. Just use cheap brushes because they will need to be replaced fairly frequently.

Hope that helps! If you get one, please let me know because I'd love to see what you make with it. :) Thanks again for your comment.

great colors and interesting ideas. you could use those little flowers instead of primas if you don't have the right color. I just threw away a bunch of outdated business cards, never even thought of using them in a layout.
