Those cards are so colorful and fun. How did you do the swirlie thing on those 3 in front? It doesn't look like that could be a rubber stamp?

Hi Sandi! Thanks for dropping by. :) You are correct, the spirals were not made using rubber stamps. They are hand painted. I have been meaning to write up a tutorial on how to do this, because so many people ask me about it. The truth is you don't really need a tutorial though, it is super easy to do- you just need the right equipment. It requires use of a spinning device of some sort. For card sized spirals like the ones shown here, a child's spinning toy like this one will work.

I do love mine though.

One thing I would say is, you'll probably want to use better paints than the ones that come with this. I also prefer to use paintbrushes and sponge brushes. DO NOT under any circumstances use your high quality expensive brushes for this though- spin art will wear them out very quickly. Just use cheap brushes because they will need to be replaced fairly frequently.

Hope that helps! If you get one, please let me know because I'd love to see what you make with it. :) Thanks again for your comment.

My boys would love that Swirl Master toy and I could play with it too. We just might get one.
